DMB at The Gorge.

Works been super busy (like insanely busy) So I haven't had the chance to post about my favorite trip of the year. THE GORGE!!! So I've always said that everyone needs one good obsession...something to love. Mine is the Dave Matthews Band and even better, DMB at The Gorge. It is an awesome venue in Southern Washington State. This was my 3rd year going. It's my favorite place to see DMB. 3 Nights of DMB in the middle of nowhere...under the stars with 20,000 other people who love DMB as much as I do. There's a huge hill to climb down to get to the reserved section. Going down is fine, it's the going up part that sucks! We were on Row 3 night 1, Row 6 Night 2 and Row 8 night 3. So we had to make the climb up each time. I thought it was FREEZING...but of course I'm from Arizona :) This year was a little different because of the recent death of LeRoi Moore (A founding band member - he played the Sax) We had some special nights. The best Gorge trip ever.

So now I've been to 37 DMB shows and I've dragged Dustin along to 11 (I think.) Each time he becomes more of a fan...this year he actually bought a DMB shirt and hat! He's moving up in the world. Makes a girl proud :P haha.

ok so here are our pics...It's super easy to sneak a camera in and once you're in there they could care less that you're using it.

This is from the top of the Hill

During O.A.R. - They opened.

Us at the Gorge!

Little Timmy! He's not a band member, but has been guesting on this tour and he's amazing!

Rashawn Ross & Jeff Coffin - Neither Band members. Rashawn has been a guest on the tours for awhile now, but Jeff was filling in for LeRoi after he had his accident.

Stefan!

Carter!

Carter brought this little kid up on stage after the show on Night 2 - I love Carter.

Speaking of obsessions, Aunt Kelsey has Wicked tickets for July 2 at Gammage. She said she will hang onto 2 of them if you and Dustin are interested in going. I think they are $73 or something like that. I'll forward you her e-mail (if I still have it). We're excited to see you guys again....!
