2 YEARS!!

Ok so Tuesday was our 2 year Anniversary! WOW! Here's our story...

(I'll apologize in advance for so many words. I'm not one who normally types much)

WE START WITH HIGH SCHOOL...

We got together sometime during the school year or 1996...of course that was YEARS after we "met" at Wal-Mart. (Which really was YEARS after we were in the same primary when I lived in Safford) Anyway, so Dustin still says we met in Taco Bell, but he is wrong. We saw each other in Taco Bell but didn't actually speak to each other until we were in the Garden Section of Wal-Mart. He claims he fell in love with me that day and I'm not sure it's all true, but I guess I should believe him. I didn't fall in love with him until years later...it took me some time :). 

Our First Dance together...SHS Prom in '96. We basically look hideous. Look how skinny he is!!! My goodness. I won't even talk about myself....

THS Homecoming in 97. After Dustin played his first summer of baseball. I was SO excited to have him back! Especially in time for the Dance.

High School in '97. We took Luci to the Airport the night after homecoming. We were sad to let her Go. Funny thing about this - see how Dustin still looks so little/skinny! I remember him coming home and he came to pick me up from school for lunch the day he got back and when I saw him I thought he looked so Big. haha. I guess compared to what he was before he was big.

Then while Dustin was playing baseball we broke up...or more likely I broke us up. I was a college girl who was on a mission to have fun without a boyfriend and really...well Dustin was always off playing baseball and I had a hard time with that. But....

THEN THERE WAS COLLEGE

Well I was in college anyhow. He was still playing baseball. We got back together...again. This is the only pic I can find of us together. It was in the 2000-2001 area. 

THE IN -BETWEEN 

We weren't together for a LONG time. In fact as we know, I got married. In 2005 I got divorced. One night I couldn't sleep. It was a bit of rough times adjusting to being divorced and so I got up around midnight and went to my computer. I logged into myspace in hopes of after browsing awhile I'd get tired and want to go to sleep. (I didn't have TV to watch because I was too poor and couldn't afford cable and I was too lazy to put a movie in.) Anyways, so I'm looking around at pages and I go back to my homepage and I have a message. I click, it's from a Dustin. I'm like thinkin' who the heck is this. I open it and it says something like "I heard about your grandpa and I hope you're doing ok. Dustin." (My grandpa had died a few weeks earlier.) So I look at his page and it says he graduated from THS in 98. So then I'm confused cause the only Dustin I remember was Dustin Welker. So I immediately call Erin to ask if she remembers anyone else cause I'm thinking this is Dustin Seale...a boy I haven't spoken to in 4-5 years. She says she doesn't remember anyone. So I email him back and just say something like "is this Dustin Seale" He emails back and says "yep. Surprise" hahaha. Cracked me up. Anyways, so we emailed back and forth for awhile til he says something like "why don't you call me instead of emailing" So I emailed him back with my number and he called and i was SO NERVOUS! Anyways, so that night we talked on the phone all night. Sounds so much like high school but it was awesome. It was like we didn't miss a thing all those years. Then the first time he came by my house I knew we were going to get married. Yes, that stupid thing you hear about when someone looks at a person and knows they're going to marry them. That was me. But I didn't tell him that for awhile. haha. Didn't want to scare him away :P. Anyways, here are some of our wedding pics and just random stuff.

I do have to share this because I LOVE it. So at the wedding dinner we had Ron Nunley (Dustin's best man) and Erin (My best girl) give little toast/speeches (Whatever you want to call them.) They were both so perfect. Erin talked about all the trips we went out and it was perfect. Then Ron said what a giving person Dustin is and after that he pulled this out of his front pocket and read it. The picture on the front is the one up there From THS Girls Dance 97. Dustin sent this to Ron while he was on his mission. It was too cute that he still had it and found it for the wedding.

So Crazy! Somedays I'm still surprised that I even ended up marrying this boy!! haha. Well we had a lot of years together before we were married...a lot of ons and offs and I guess it just goes to show that what's meant to be will always find its way.
